I started learning ballet at a very late age. In fact, took my first ballet lesson when I was 27 years old. Most people will say at that age, it is very tough to learn ballet dancing.
Unfortunately, I do agree with them. It was very tough in the beginning, and it is still tough now. It is very hard to do some movement due to my stiff muscle and joints.
It is quite amazing how a 7 years old girl could stretch her legs so far apart while I find it hard to stretch my legs half way through.
Nonetheless, apart from all the trail and tribulation, I do love ballet. I guess is goes back when I was a little girl seeing beautiful ballerinas dancing on stage. It is a dream of mine to dance and I’m working hard to make that dream a reality.
So, it’s been almost a year now since I took my first ballet class. Even though I practiced 3 times a week, I still feel I am not progressing fast enough.
Have you had that kind of feeling before?
I had always excelled in school, I did so because I do more that what is required by the teachers.
In my quest to improve my ballet, I went on the web to search for information about ballet. I came across on a web site that talks all about ballet techniques. The web site was Bible Bible at www.ballet-bible.com.
What really caught my attention was the title on the web site. It talks about the 3 keys to improving your ballet techniques in the shortest time possible. That is what I have been looking for!
At first, I wasn’t very sure about the web site and I did more of Ballet Bible review on the internet. The information I found was pretty positive. But I am still a bit skeptical.
I read through the web site, and yes, I read every word of it.
The Ballet Bible was actually created by Anita Leembruggen, a ballet instructor by profession. I read the history of how Anita got started with ballet and I can really relate to her story.
Anita said, the reason she published her e-book was because most of the ballet guides in the market are incomplete. Most guides only show you how to do a perfect ballet movement, but they don’t show you how most dancers do it incorrectly and how to correct it.
I know how an ideal ballet move looks like. What I wanted to know is why my movement does not look or feel like the ideal move.
Is my form correct? Is my posture correct?
I saw some of the wrong posture pictures on the web site, and to my horror, that’s how I stand!
After seeing that, I decided to take up Anita’s offer. A quick review on the Ballet Bible offer, I notice it is selling at only $47.
I don’t think it is a very big investment. Anyhow, Anita promised a 60 days money back guarantee on her guide. I figure, if I don’t like it, I can always return it and ask for a full refund.
In my next post, I will write more about my findings of the Ballet Bible guide.
